    Popis přípravy: 

    Cíle:

    Jazykový cíl: Žáci umí používat budoucí čas Will.

    Kulturní cíl: Žáci pozorují odlišnosti různých lidí v různých kulturách a kulturním prostředí.

    Aktivity:

    1) Find someone who will

    • The first activity is a warm-up. Every student will get a paper (attached below).
    • Their task is to stand up and find as many other students as possible who will do the stated activities tomorrow. E.g.: The student will go to another student and he will ask: “Will you learn for school tomorrow?” And the second student will give a true answer “Yes, I will.”/”No, I won´t.”. If his answer is yes, he will sign on the first student´s paper next to the activity and the first student will ask other students about the other activities. If the answer is no, he can ask about other activities. It is likely, that the friend will do at least one activity from the list.

    2) Saturday in different country

    • The students will work in group of three.
    • Every student will get a chart with time and activity they usually do in that time on Saturday. They should imagine that they are pupils from different countries who try to invite their friends to his/her country. Their task is to introduce what they will do during the day, if the others come.
    • In the end they should try to guess how old they are and which country they are from.

    3) Weekend in 100 years

    How will people spend their free time in 100 years?

    • The students will stay in the groups from the previous activity.
    • In the previous activity the students could see the predictions of a boy about his weekend. Now their task is to predict the weekend of people who will live in 100 years. The students will write their ideas in the groups and then they present it to the class.

    4) How will this finish?

    • Please watch the video carefully. I will stop in one moment and your task is to write your own ending of the story. Use your imagination and the future tense will. The teacher should check the understanding of vocabulary (moose, raccoon)
    • After each video. Please, compare your stories in groups of three people and pick the best ending of the story. Read it to the class, please.
    • After watching the first video. How did the young boy earn his own money? What did he do to save money? What can children do in the Czech Republic to earn money?
